Join South Philly Autonomous Cinema for a film screening and fundraiser for Ginger Arts Center, a community space for youth by youth in Chinatown and a force in the No Arena in Chinatown fight! We will be screening the indie classic Chan Is Missing.

Set among the back alleys of San Francisco’s Chinatown, this neo-noir comedy caper follows Jo (Wood Moy) and Steve (Marc Hayashi) as they attempt to track down their AWOL business partner…and the $4000 he took with him. The first Asian-American feature film to be both widely distributed and critically acclaimed outside the Asian American community, Chan Is Missing shows that neither Chinatown nor its titular character are as simple as outsiders may think…

This event is all ages. Masks are requested to be worn except when eating or drinking and will be supplied at the door.
